Should be writing stuff about similar acts to my own – downbeat chill out acts that is.
But I am just looking out on this beautiful day and thinking about a show I saw last night with Deepak Chopra and Mike Myers. The guy who did all the crazy comedy stuff “Waynes World” etc etc.
He was talking a lot about synchronicity and what modern materialistic people call coincidence.
Well, there is no such thing as coincidence he says.
Man is the only living creature who knows that its going to die some day. “Look behind you!” he says to Mike Myers. Mike Myers turns around – “death is coming after you”. He says “look behind you again” – Mike turns around again- “its closer now!” – funny stuff I must say. You should have “been” there I gues – to really appreciate the humor.
Humor – by the way – was another way of coping he said – mans best way to cope with life and the sometimes hard realities.
I have to check up on that guy, really interesting stuff. Not so self righteous as you sometimes
experience these people getting. Like they alone know the answers.
I have to let you know also about Pathaans great radio show on BBC – his “musical rickshaw” he calls it, and he actually playlisted one of the new Ganga tracks.

Its a great show and I can recommend it. Lots of chilled electronic downbeat and other stuff with an asian sound to it.
His “world Odyssey Mix” is this week mixed by none less that Gui Boratto. One of my favourites.
I guess I will write similar chill out and downbeat acts another time.
